نقطة تماس.. نعمة الإختلاف
يسعدني إطلاق شعار "الإختلاف يجمعنا"، وإليكم المقدمة في سطور على أمل سماع مداخلاتكم وإغناء الموضوع بآرائكم ونشر هذه الرسالة، والهدف أن نتفاعل ونتحاور فمن خلال تلاقح الأفكار تتولد المعرفة.
مقدمة:
لا شك أن عمر الإختلاف بين البشر هو من عمر وجود البشرية، ولا ريب أن كل المحاولات الحثيثة التي ابتدعها الإنسان لجمع الناس على قلب واحد أو معتقد واحد أو وجهة نظر واحدة أو تيار سياسي واحد لم تبوء بالفشل فحسب، بل خلّفت ورائها كوارث وآثار سلبية جمة حلت بكاهلها الثقيل على العلاقات بين الناس وتحولت إلى صراعات وحروب ونزاعات دارت رحاها على مر العصور الغابرة فحصدت أرواحاً لا تعد ولا تحصى وبلدان ومدن وقرى أبيدت عن بكرة أبيها بكل ما فيها من أوابد وتحف وآثار لا تقدر بثمن ولا تزال جذوة تلك الشرور ونارها مستعرة إلى عصرنا هذا وفي مناطق مختلفة من العالم.
ولعل الأسئلة التي تدور في خلد المرء هنا كثيرة!!
١. هل من الإلزام أن نكون جميعاً على صعيد واحد رغم أن الله خلقنا مختلفين وجعلنا طرائق شتا!؟
٢. هل من الجمال أن تتفق الأطياف فتكون لوناً واحداً، وتفقد الطبيعة رونقها وتلونها ونقضي على جمال قوس قزح!؟
٣. هل إجماع كل العباد على عقيدة واحدة يكفل للجميع مقاعد في الجنة وتلتغي بذلك فكرة الجحيم إلى الأبد!؟
٤. هل من الحكمة القضاء على التنوع بإدعاء أن الإختلاف مشكلة!؟
٥. هل من الشجاعة تهميش الآخر بدعوى أن طرف أقوى من طرف!؟
٦. هل من الإيمان إقصاء الآخر لأنه لا يتفق معنا بالعقيدة!؟
٧. هل من العقل والمنطق إحتكار الحقيقية ومصادرة المعرفة بذرائع ضيقة لم ولن تجمع عليها البشرية قط!؟
٨. هل من الورع والسماحة والمحبة قتل الآخر لأنه لا يؤمن بما تؤمن!؟
٩. هل إختلاف عقائدنا بإرادتنا!! أم هكذا خُلقنا مختلفين كأختلاف ألسنتنا وألوان عيوننا وبشرتنا وسمات وجوهنا.. وكأختلاف بصماتنا وتفاوت مستويات ذكائنا!؟
١٠. هل أنا أو أنت أحرص على توحيد الخلائق من خالق الأكوان جل جلاله.. الذي فطر الناس على هذه الشاكلة!؟
١١. هل من الحق والعدل أن نُحجم رضى الله تعالى في دين أو طائفة أو فئة بذاتها ويكون السخط من نصيب وقدر سواها!؟
أسئلة كثيرة تتبادر إلى الذهن، ومازالت الغالبية تتخوف من إتخاذ أي خطوات تقاربية نحو الآخر وكأن ذلك الآخر قد خلقه إله آخر.
۞ وَاكْتُبْ لَنَا فِي هَٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ إِنَّا هُدْنَا إِلَيْكَ ۚ قَالَ عَذَابِي أُصِيبُ بِهِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ ۖ وَرَحْمَتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ ۚ فَسَأَكْتُبُهَا لِلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَالَّذِينَ هُم بِآيَاتِنَا يُؤْمِنُونَ (156) الأعراف

Difference Brings Us Together
“Difference brings us together.” “Difference is grace!”
I am delighted to introduce the slogan “Difference brings us together” and make it the title of this article.
There is no doubt that human difference is as ancient as humanity itself. There is also no doubt that the strenuous attempts made throughout history to unite people around one belief, ideology, doctrine, or political position have not only failed dramatically, but have also led to sectarian conflicts, wars of extermination, and futile disputes over the centuries. Such dangerous extremism has ended countless lives and destroyed countries, cities, and villages, along with their invaluable temples and antiquities. The fires of these evils are still raging in different parts of the world today.
Perhaps many questions may come to mind:
- Must we all be of one mind, even though God created us different and gave us different paths?
- Would there be beauty if all the colors of the spectrum became one color, losing the brilliance of nature and eliminating the beauty of the rainbow?
- Does the agreement of all worshippers on one doctrine guarantee everyone a seat in paradise and consequently eliminate the idea of hell forever?
- Is it wise to eliminate diversity by claiming that difference itself is a problem?
- Is it courage to marginalize others on the pretext that one party is stronger than another?
- Is it faith to exclude others simply because they do not agree with us?
- Is it reasonable or logical to monopolize truth and knowledge on the basis of arguments upon which humanity has never agreed and may never agree?
- Is it godly, tolerant, or loving to kill others because they do not believe what you believe?
- Is our faith entirely a matter of our own will? Or were we created this way—different in our languages, in the colors of our eyes and skin, in the features of our faces, in our fingerprints, and even in our varying abilities and ways of thinking?
- Do you or I dare to be more determined to unite the Creator’s creatures than the Creator Himself, who created people different?
- Is it right or just to restrict our understanding of God to one religion, sect, or party and decide that His discontent must be the share and destiny of everyone else?
Many questions come to mind, yet many people remain afraid and hesitant to take even the first steps toward one another—as though the other had been created by another God.
