September 3, 2019 Ottawa, Ontario Today, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke with United States House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The Prime Minister expressed his condolences for the recent boat fire that occurred off the coast of Southern California.
The Prime Minister and the Speaker discussed progress on the new North American Free Trade Agreement and welcomed ongoing work towards its ratification. They agreed on the importance of continued strong relations for the benefit of citizens on both sides of the border.
